Information we use
When you sign in with Google, Daymark receives your Google account identifier, verified email address, and display name. We use them to create or find your Daymark account and keep you signed in.
Optional Google Calendar connection
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Daymark requests access to view and manage events on your primary calendar. The app uses this access to display those events alongside your Daymark plans and to create, edit, or delete an event only when you request that action in Daymark.
The Google access token and calendar event details remain in your browser memory and are not sent to or stored on Daymark servers. They are cleared when you disconnect Google Calendar, sign out, or close the browser session. Daymark stores only a local connection preference on your device so it can offer to reconnect later.
Daymark's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Daymark stores the plans, routines, journal entries, images, messages, comments, sharing settings, and social connections you choose to add. A session cookie keeps you signed in. A copy of your latest account content may be cached on your device so you can view recent plans while offline; signing out or deleting the account removes this offline account cache from that device.
Sharing and service providers
Other Daymark users can see the calendar entries, journal entries, comments, and profile information that you choose to share through the app's visibility settings. Direct messages are shown to their participants. Vercel hosts the website and provides privacy-focused traffic analytics; Neon hosts the application database. These providers process data to operate the service.
Retention and choices
Your account data remains stored while your Daymark account is active. You can change sharing settings in the app. You can permanently delete your account and its associated data from Settings inside Daymark. Instructions and an email request option are available on the account deletion page.
